Photography Workshop – improve your skills in a fun group
Want better photos on your next vacation? Your kids are growing up way too fast and their pictures are never quite how you want them to turn out? Do you want to gain more confidence in operating your camera in general? Improving your camera skills has never been easier or more fun with my photography workshop beginner and advanced level for amateurs.
Two Workshop Levels Available
After a break I decided to unpack my workshops again and share the love for photography in a session of two short courses:
Photography 1 Workshop at The Farm, Al Barari.
This is really basic to get you started – for the total beginner.
You can also take it further (or you already know your auto modes and want more) at the:
Photography 2 Workshop at The Farm, Al Barari.
Teaching Content Workshop Photography 1
7 hours of hands-on learning, which includes one on one time with each participant – bring your questions! I will teach basic camera knowledge, do’s and don’ts, digital images, Macro and Landscape mode, people pictures. Your camera is a compact point and shoot camera or a DSLR – anything goes. Don’t want to come alone? Forward this registration to your friend and you both have a great time together! 🙂
More About Myself
I hold a Masters in Education so expect a comprehensive and fun workshop. Further, I have over 15 years of photography experience, with half that time spent as a professional photographer. After overhauling and redesigning my New Zealand workshop content, which I taught very successfully for many years, I hope you enjoy this as much as my past participants.
What My Past Students Have To Say About My Workshop
Wish I could join another session of yours soon xx
Katharina taught us with great passion. She met each of us at our own level and delivered a very hands-on, practical and useful experience. My understanding of photography was enriched and I was motivated to take it to a higher level. Thank you so much!
I think the thing I learned the most working with Katharina is to have my photography say something meaningfully and beautifully rather than just get an image.
What Shella said about the course:
Your photography class was very interesting & interactive. Capturing the symmetry in nature & structures in a beautiful way. Taking great pictures bearing in mind the natural light & sun at the background. Thanks for a fun session. Kwasi & I feel like professionals 😀.
I did a beginners course where I learned photography concepts and, most importantly for me, how to adjust the setting on my camera. I enjoyed all the group exercises as ‘doing’ helps me remember. After the course, I understood why a photo hadn’t come out the way I intended and I learned skills on to rectify this until I got the shot I wanted. I started enjoying the low light around Scout campfires.
The Workshop Venue
I’m super excited to have such a beautiful and wonderful venue onboard supporting the workshop. The food and view alone will be worth it! Included in the course is a sandwich platter, salad, dessert and refreshments a la The Farm. You can also order more from the menu. The Farm’s food and drinks are really delicious. (Please respect that you cannot bring your own food.)
Keep On Learning After The Workshop
Lastly, you are not only taking a course, you joining a community because learning never really stops. The Borszik Photography Education Group on Facebook provides a private platform for workshop participants to share and grow and ask questions in a safe and encouraging environment.
Also, please share this article with someone who might like to come. If you are interested in booking a private, semi-private (for you and your friend), or a group workshop you can get in touch with me here.
