arabic bread bakery
since my grandpa was a baker I am now keen on seeing other bakers, too. especially here now in the middle east!
So when we discovered this man baking Arabic bread on the top of the roof of an traditional house now used as an restaurant in the middle of Souk Waqif – naturally I stopped and watched him. It wasn’t much of a conversation (language barrier here) but more a pointing and explaining with hands – and we understood each other perfectly!
what I love about travel photography is, it shows me a total different world to my own. I then can share what I see with you.
this photo story was taken during a trip to Doha, Qatar and if you are keen to see more about this country check out my Facebook page travel photography album or my other Doha Blog post. My blog post on my German grandpa and his bakery you can find here.
have a great weekend! 🙂
